Aaron Hernandez Could Be In Trouble Now

Just when you thought that Aaron Hernandez was in the clear. Daily we seen the judge throw evidence out that the States Attorney thought was going to be valuable evidence.
But Wait There's More
The grimy system has been slapped in the face so many times that they went and pulled out their big guns this time. They are trying to force his fiancee to take the stand and testify against him. If she testify against him this kind of evidence is the type that can definitely hurt him out of everything that was being built against him. Shayanna Jenkins has been granted immunity if and when she takes the stand. I don't know about you, but i know a pot of people who would put their mothers under that boat for that immunity.

The prosecution granting immunity to Shayanna Jenkins, Aaron's fiancee could be that piece that they need to take control of the murder trial. If you have been watching you know that everything that they were throwing at him was actually being thrown back at him. For the people who have been under a rock, Aaron has been arrested for murder of a friend Odin Lloyd.

The judge in the Odin Lloyd murder trial just announced an "endorsement for immunity to Shayanna Jenkins." The Prosecution have accused Shayanna of disposing possible evidence and lying at Hernandez's request after the murder.

The judge has sealed the record so it's unclear how much protection Shayanna will receive in exchange for her testimony, but given the circumstances I am going to assume it has to protect her completely in order for her to give them anything that will put her fiancee away for life.

The court system is not to be trusted and neither is your spouse when put in this position to be free or not

5 More Weeks For A. Bynum

The city of Philadelphia has been looking for a savior since Allen Iverson left, well got traded. They acquired big man Andrew Bynum and he went down to a knee injury and will not be able to play or practice for another 5 weeks. Bynum return time has been changed 3 times so far since September.

He went to his personal knee specialist in New York, who gave him the bad news for the 76ers of him being out for 5 more weeks. Philly is hoping that he will be available by December 10th. The thing about that is in all actuality he may not be back til January sometime. Due tho him having to go through four weeks of practice and conditioning.

General manager Tony DiLeo addressed fans who have been eager to see there new acquired big man. "We know you are very eager to see Andrew play and shine in the city of Philadelphia, but we know Andrew is more eager to play for you all".

Marijuana Law and NFL and NCAA players in Colorado and Washington

Once election day was over and it was said that marijuana was legalized for the use of adults in Colorado and Washington, NFL Players were asking for trades immediately. Ricky Williams called Dan Marino and said if you need me to be backup for Willis I will.

The NFL wasted no time for them to address the players in those cities.
"The NFL's policy is collectively bargained and will continue to apply in the same manner it has for decades," said NFL spokesman Greg Aiello. He goes along to apply that the laws in Colorado and Washington will not have any impact on the rule set in the operation policies.

The drug remains illegal under the league's substance abuse policy whether a player is on the Broncos, and Seahawks. As they will still be punished as some think with the other 30 NFL teams. That means players would still be subject to fines or suspensions for failing drug tests because they have marijuana in their system.

Well NCAA are not compiling with the law either. Marijuana will remain illegal under federal law, so it will still be a banned substance by the NCAA. NCAA released a statement saying, "The legalizing of marijuana in Colorado and Washington does not impact the drug testing rule. They go on to explain, "The NCAA banned drug and testing policies are not tied to whether a substance is legal for general population use, but rather the substance is considered a threat to the student athletes health.

NCAA representative said that they have banned several legal over the counter items also such as Muscle Milk, Sudafed, Midol, Airborne, some flavors of Vitamin Water and tobacco.

Well players will not have the experience to smoke it, but I know the 2 states are possibly having marijuana parties like crazy.

MIKE VICK WILL BE CUT ??

After not making the playoffs last year the “Dream Team” Philadelphia Eagles fell way short of expectations.  Now the pressure for them to make it to the playoffs this year is extremely high especially on quarterback Michael Vick.

The Eagles are currently 3-2 and are 1st place in the NFC East.  The wins however have seemed pretty lucky as they’ve dealt with numerous turnovers at the hand of Vick.  Issues with interceptions and fumbles have plagued the QB leading him to go so far as to walk around with a football all day long.  Today they face the 1-3 Detroit Lions at 1 PM, another team that has fallen way short of expectations.

DEREK JETER OUT FOR THE REST OF POST SEASON

It was a tough loss for the New York Yankees last night as they not only lost game 1 to the Detroit Tigers, they also loss their captain Derek Jeter for the rest of the postseason.  Read more after the jump.

The fracture is in the same foot Jeter has been nursing for several weeks, leading Cashman to believe the injuries are related. Jeter had two separate bone bruises – one on the ankle and another on the foot – that he had been dealing with for most of the past month.
Jeter was moving to his left to make a play on Jhonny Peralta’s grounder in the top of the 12th, but he landed awkwardly on his left foot and fell to the ground. Knowing something was terribly wrong with his ankle, Jeter rolled the ball toward Robinson Cano, wincing in pain as he lay on the dirt.
“For him to lay down on that field, I knew something was broke or torn completely,” Andy Pettitte said. “When I saw him not get up, I knew he was done.”
“It just didn't look right,” Mark Teixeira said. “We knew something was wrong.”
Joe Girardi and team trainer Steve Donohue tended to the Captain, helping him to his feet and assisting him off the field as he put no pressure on the injured leg at all.
Jeter was brought to the trainer’s room, where an X-ray revealed the fracture. Team physician Dr. Chris Ahmad delivered the news to Jeter, who was surrounded by several people including Cashman, Donohue, Joe Torre, Tino Martinez and Reggie Jackson.
Cashman said Jeter was informed “that his season’s over, that you have a fracture and it’s something you can’t play through. Doc had to emphasize that because of who he’s talking to. Derek is as tough as they come, but I think Doc emphasized that this is what you’re dealing with.”
The fracture is in the same foot Jeter has been nursing for several weeks, leading Cashman to believe the injuries are related. Jeter had two separate bone bruises – one on the ankle and another on the foot – that he had been dealing with for most of the past month.

Jayson Nix will take over and replace Jeter as starting shortstop.  The loss of Jeter is no doubt a huge blow to the Yankees as they go down 0-1 in the ALCS.  Game 2 is today at 4 PM, the Yankees have a tough road ahead.

What did Troy Aikman say about Dallas Fans ??

Jerry Jones’s new stadium is big and fancy, but it doesn’t necessarily give the Cowboys much of a home-field advantage.  That’s the word from Hall of Fame former Cowboys quarterback Troy Aikman, who says he doesn’t think Dallas fans are the type to loudly cheer their teams but are more the type to go to sporting events as social occasions.
“I think for a large part – and the fans don’t want to hear this – a lot of the people that attend sports in this town, they’re there because it’s kind of just a place to be seen,” Aikman said.
Aikman’s comments came after the Cowboys home game lost against the Bears that featured thousands of fans from Chicago making the trip to Dallas to support their team. Some of the Bears players said that it felt like a home game in the stadium.
Dallas isn’t so much a sports town as it is a winner’s town,” Aikman said. “And that’s not that unique. Most towns are like that. There are very few towns like Chicago where you can go out there and go 4-12 and they’re stilling selling out stadiums. That’s pretty unique.”

“I don’t think Dallas has ever really had a great home field advantage,” Aikman said. “What I’ve heard is that, ‘Wow, they really lost home field advantage when they left Texas Stadium.’ Texas Stadium really wasn’t that different. Having played playoff games in Texas Stadium, that stadium was rocking, it was great. . . . But when we would play in Philadelphia, New York and walk out of the tunnel, I would have to be yelling at the top of my lungs for guys to hear me. And you get on the plane for the flight home and your head would be pounding, you wouldn’t have a voice, and that’s just the way that it was. There was no way you could go down there near the goal line and use hard count in an opposing stadium. And yet in Texas Stadium, teams did it all the time.”

That won’t be a popular opinion for Aikman to express in Dallas. But that doesn’t make him wrong.

How do you feel about this, Should he have said it or just left it to himself ?

NFL only donating 5% of the “Pink” line proceeds to Cancer Research

The NFL’s involvement in Breast Cancer Awareness month has come under fire after claims the league is profiting from the cause. Players have been wearing pink caps, shirts, elbow pads, and boots and flashes of the color have adorned towels and parts of the field throughout October across the U.S.
Fans can buy pink items from the National Football League shop, or bid in auctions for products seen during games.
The proceeds ostensibly go to help support the fight against breast cancer, but critics now allege that most of the cash ends up in the pockets of NFL owners.
The website tells fans they can ‘support the fight against breast cancer with pink NFL breast cancer awareness gear.’
If the products have a typical 100 per cent mark-up at retail point, that means the NFL is keeping 90 per cent of the profit from the sale of the items.
Of the money the ACS receives, only 70.8 per cent goes towards research and cancer programs and a significant portion has to be spent on administration.
This would mean that for every $100 in sales of pink products, $3.54 goes towards research while the NFL keeps approximately $45.

Although the proliferation of pink merchandise clearly helps awareness, these figures may raise some eyebrows when you consider that NFL had $9.5billion in revenue in 2011.
An NFL spokesperson said that while they did not dispute the numbers above, the NFL does not profit from the sale of pink merchandise. Any money that is not donated to ACS is used to cover the costs of its breast cancer awareness program, A Crucial Catch.

JAY-Z WILL APPEAR ON THE BENCH

Jay-Z served as the executive producer of the upcoming NBA 2K13 game, and it looks like he'll actually be featured in the game as well. Though it would be cool to throw it down with Hov, he'll be featured as a familiar face sitting courtside at the Barclays Center whenever you choose to play there.
