As if being down 2-0 in a series against the Miami Heat isn't bad enough, add on the fact that your 100million power forward, who is averaging 13.5 points in this series, just punched through glass due to his anger and is out indefinitely. Boy as if his braids wasn't bad enough. Angered that they lost a hard fought game by Melo, there was no real true reason Amare should have been mad at anyone but himself. Lack of effort and intensity on defense. No aggression on offense. Unable to create a shot on your own. Again this is an 100million dollar man we talking about punching through glass because his team lost to a superior team. It might have been a different result had Amare controlled the paint (18 of Wade's 25points came in the paint). It might have been a different game had Amare defended Bosh, who finished the game with 21points. Maybe if Amare had 12 rebounds instead of 7 or was reliable when switching on defense or even pay attention when somebody is driving directly towards you, the game would've been different. Instead the Knicks are down 2-0 and Amare is heading to Florida to recovery. Jeremy Lin anyone?
