While on the Larry Brown Sports show Floyd Mayweather Jr. revealed that his bestfriend Curtis Jackson aka 50 Cent is looking to become involved in boxing.
50 has been a fan of boxing since a child, and is a heavy supporter of Floyd Mayweather. Curtis Jackson wants to get involved in the promotional aspect of boxing. He has been an extremely successful businessman in many fields besides making and producing music.
The biggest part of the interview aside from 50 wanting to promote boxing and add another business under his belt, but he may also want to try his hand in the ring and box his way up in the rankings.
It's public knowledge that 50 Cent began boxing at 11 years old, and he also competed in the Junior Olympics at one point, but never had an official professional bout.
Seeing 50 Cent in the ring would be awesome. Maybe he and Kimbo Slice will get a chance to throw on the gloves and throw hands in the future, if 50 does decide to actually fight. Maybe even him and Jay-Z could go head to head in the ring for the king of New York. It was publicly that Jay-Z also is a big fan of boxing and has also been using boxing as an exercise regiment.
That would be an instant hit with the fans that's guaranteed to sell loads of tickets.
