The Washington Capitals have signed 18 year old, forward Tom Wilson to a 3 year, entry-level contract. Wilson will earn $832, 500 at the NHL level and $70, 000 at the AHL level, and that is including bonuses.
Wilson was drafted 16th overall in the first round by the Capitals in the 2012 Draft. He was 15th overall in North American Hockey players. He is 6'4", 203 pounds, and won a gold medal with Team Canada in 2011 at the Ivan Hinka Memorial Tournament.
