Minnesota Timberwolves President of Basketball Operations Mr. David Kahnhas sent videotape to the league with proof supporting his allegations that his rookie star pg Ricky Rubio is being physically abused during games. He feels as if his pg (along with other newbies in the league) is being put through a "hazing" of sorts to let them know that life in the NBA isn't as easy as the young pg's would like to make it seem with their fan favorite play-making ability. Timberwolves head coach Rick Adelman has been quoted saying, "Our point guard would be having a better year if opposing teams weren't consistantly using bigger players to defend him and getting away with very physical game play."......(Uh ummmm. Mr. Adelman that's called strategy)....... This answer came when Adelman was asked about other teams being able to stall the Minnesota offense.
Rubio himself said, "I figured it was bound to get tougher around mid-season heading into the playoffs when you start playing against the best players in the world and everyone wants a spot in the post-season."
We're just going to suggest that basketball fans keep a close eye on Rubio's "AND 1" stats. Because NBA whining is becoming a part of team strategies if you ask me.
