All jokes aside. If the Celtics deal Rondo and end up with 2 of these 4 (HOWARD, GASOL, WILLIAMS, ELLIS etc......) and have KG and Allen coming off the bench. This could actually be a decent move. Allen and Garnett's contracts are up and have said nothing about retiring. I do believe both men would accept a bench role. Keep your eyes on Boston. They don't produce sorry teams. And don't expect them to start today. Look at this list of remaining free agents:
#1) D. Howard #2) Steve Nash #3) Michael Beasley #4) Brook Lopez #5) Deron Williams #6) Nicolas Batum #7) O.J. Mayo #8) Vince Carter.... and the Lakers are looking to deal Pau Gasol........ Lamar Odom hates suiting up for Dallas...............

Thats what I was thinking too. But the only teams that would take KG and Ray is the Lakers. But then the Celtics wouldn't get anything good in return. So there best play is to take advantage of KG and Ray not wanting to retire. Trade Rondo for another PG and a solid bigman and let KG and Ray come off the bench...... that would give them immediate depth.
ReplyDeleteA hater would set this ish up but I guess. Man Rondo is staying put. The Celtics don't want Pau old azz. The Fakers can keep that smelly mofo. If anything, the Celtics will rebuild around Rondo.
