NFL'S 2012 CLASS OF ASSMEN........ AND THE OWNERS WHO NOMINATED THEM

The fatal mistake of many star athletes...... Forgetting the game you play is a business. And like most businesses, they're always looking for the next best thing to make them money and could give a rats ass about what you've done for them lately.

So with this said, we give you last seasons NFL 2012 Class of Assmen. And this years Honorees are:

***************ALEX SMITH************

After leading the 49ers franchise to the NFC's championship game and a 13-3 record..... Throwing for 3000+ yards and only committing 5 interceptions this year you would've thought he'd done enough to show his worth. He most definitely could go replace at least 50% of the NFL's current QB's in a heartbeat. But like all "businesses" the owners are greedy and could care less. As soon as the 49ers received the news that Peyton Manning was leaving Indianapolis, they started salivating. And completely forgot about the kid whom brought life back to a franchise whom no one expected to go that far until probably week 8. So now that the Niners have flunked out of the Manning sweepstakes, Mr. Smith is ready to pack up and get the hell out of dodge as he had to learn rule #1 of the game he plays. Loyalty is limited to options. Regardless of the possible repercussions.

Alex Smith..... How does your GM Trent Baalke's ass taste?

********************************* T.J.YATES *************************************

Granted you were the most raw rookie in NFL history thrown into the Lions Den of the AFC where defensive teams rule. You still are credited with getting the Houston Texans franchise to their first playoff appearance, and getting their first playoff win 31-10 against the Cincinnati Bengals. I personally believe they should re-vamp the offense to include at least 35% of the plays to fit the talents you bring to the field............... BUT THAT'S JUST ME. I'm sorry kid, when Schaub returns you'll be a long lost memory. You've made it into the Houston history books, and one day your name will stump someone on Jeopardy or in the game of Trivial Pursuit. But it's a wrap. The bright lights are off. The fire's receiving no more oxygen and it's calling for heavy showers and possible flooding. Your first hoorah was your last. The only thing you could've done to alter this course of action was to win the Superbowl. But your second playoff appearance was against the greedy Baltimore Ravens, and you threw 3 interceptions. I hope the groupies were worth it, and the free dinners at all of the local Houston restaurants were satisfying, because your next piece of ass whether it's in your face or on a plate...........will cost you.

T.J. Yates............ How does your GM Rick Smith's ass taste?

************************** TIMOTHY RICHARD TEBOW ****************************

The biggest ass of the 2012 NFL CLASS OF ASSMEN............. Mr. Timothy Richard Tebow.

Not only did Mr. Tebow set an NFL Draft record for jersey sales. He also had the best-selling jersey in the entire NFL each month since being drafted. With his popularity, the Broncos, as a whole, led the NFL among all teams in jersey sales as well. After a 1-4 start last season being lead by Kyle Orton, the Broncos decided to give Tebow the start against Miami.
In Tebow's first start...........An 18-15 win over the Miami Dolphins. Denver became the first team in NFL history to win a game after being down by at least 15 points with three minutes to play in a game. With this win...........TEBOWMANIA was born!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And almost died.......... As the next game was a 45-10 loss to the Detroit Lions. But on this day, Tim made a promise to his defense. And for some odd reason, they bought it hook, line d sinker. "If you giv e a chance to win....... It shall be done." With those few words, he left te locker room, and every player committed to what they felt were thee strongest batch of words ever spoken them in their careers.

Denver went on a 6-game winning streak with Tebow on the throne, and the heavens opened up in Denver with Tebow leading the march to the pearly gates.

The stadium was packed, the jerseys were selling, television networks were fighting for rights to televise Bronco games, and the defense was holding teams to just enough so Tebow could UNLEASH  his 4th quarter magic. All was peachy in Colorado. But some people were still very skeptical about this "Tebow thing". It wasn't traditional, it wasn't pretty, you couldn't draw it up, it was everything that should NEVER be allowed in a football stadium.......... BUT IT WORKED!!!!!
And in the playoffs, Denver landed in Pittsburgh against Big Ben and the Steelers. Every fan across America including Tebow's mom thought it was over. But on this day, Tebow would be on his biggest stage and have his biggest game against a 2x Superbowl Champion. Tebow threw for 316yds with a QB rating of 125.6 with 2TD's and 0 int's. With one of those touchdowns being a first play overtime strike to seal the victory.......... The world was silenced.

And his 2nd playoff game would end exactly like his 2nd NFL start this year...............45-10 massacre!! As the New England Patriots and Tom Brady refused to be another former Superbowl Champion to be crushed by TEBOWMANIA.......... Jesus left the building to assist President Obama, and Tebow had to fend for himself.
It was a great ride, and it brought life back to Denver. And then the off-season began, and Tebow began working hard on his craft so he could come back for the 2012-2013 season 10x better and lead his team. BUT............... The same guy whom caused Alex Smith to get dumped on was heading to Denver for a possible job. And it wasn't as a wide receiver............... he wanted Timothy's job. And the Denver exec's were wetting their pants with excitement. To make this long story LONGER...... The Broncos acquired Peyton Manning and just like T.J. Yates, Tebow has made it into the Denver history books, but his time is up. A broken clock is right twice a day, and somehow Tebow made that broken clock tick a few more times. And Peyton snatched it off the wall and ripped the hands off......

Where will Tebow end up? Is he even QB material? How much is passion worth at such a detrimental position on the field? Will Tebow stay and learn from Manning or would he rather be the QB to crush Denver's dreams from the opposite side of the field?

We will find out the answer to all of these questions very soon.

NFL 2012-2013 IS GETTING HEATED UP, AND A LOT OF PLAYERS WILL BE LOOKING FOR REVENGE AND RESPECT.............WE'LL SEE IF THEY GET IT. BUT FOR 2011-2012 THEY ARE ALL ASSMEN...............
