ROGER CLEMENS RETURNS TO BASEBALL

Rogers Clemens has returned to the game he say he loves. Today he signed with an Independent Atlantic League called the Sugar Land Skeeters. He is supposed to start Saturday against Bridgeport.

The Sugar Land Skeeters is a Texas team that was established in 2010. The name was selected after winning  majority the votes between the Lizard Kings and King Canes. They play at Constellation Field.

Roger's name in baseball hasn't been the one we thought he would go out of the MLB with. Clemens was brought up on charges as one of the players that was using steroids doing that era in baseball. Which will be all ways tarnished as the "Record Breaking Era".

Well the 50 year old right-handed pitcher who was acquitted for lying to the congress about taking performance enhancing drugs in June found a 2nd chance. Clemens last time pitching was in 2007 for the Yankees. He will appear on the Hall Of Fame Ballot that will go to the voters late this year. So he could not appear in another major league game or he will been pushed back another 5 years. I believe he will go in the Hall Of Fame due to he was killing the league before the performance enhancing drugs.

Clemens fastball was clocked at 87 mph, by his agent Randy Hendericks. Roger is reported ready and excited to play ball again.

My question to you is do you think he will be effective or just as one of the greats who could not stay away from the game he loves and gets rocked on?

I think he will do good being that some of the players in those type of leagues can't even hit 75 mph fastballs constantly.
