NIKE SUES REEBOK OVER TIM TEBOW

DAMN......DAMN........DAMN......

Just when you thought Tebow couldn't be the center of attention again until the Jets season kicks off. Well think again.

Throughout madness and possibly clash between Sanchez and Tebow, Nike and Reebok has found themselves mixed in the drama.

On Wednesday March 28, 2012, Nike has went to federal court in Manhattan, NY and filed a lawsuit against Reebok for making Jets related apparel with Tim Tebow name on it without permission. This came after last weeks announcement of Tebow's trade from Denver to New York. As I reported the trade occurred before Nike replaces Reebok on Sunday as the supplier of NFL team uniforms. The thing about that is that Reebok NFL player association expired on March 1st when the trade went through on March 21.

The lawsuit seeks unspecified damages, claiming Reebok misused publicity rights, interfered with business relationships and failed to get Tebow permission before launching new products.

Nike is now requesting that all Reebok New York Jets Tim Tebow jerseys be destroyed and they pay damages.

According to the lawsuit, new Nike supplied uniforms for all 32 NFL teams will be unveiled April 3rd, in New York City to kick off the five-year deal for Nike to be the league's exclusive supplier of all on-field apparel, game uniforms and sideline apparel.

Here's the file Nike Vs. Reebok
