GAY POLE VAULTER LEAPS INTO UFC 15 COMPETITION

Mr. Dakota Cochrane is the name........ and MMA is the game. And Ultimate Fighter 15 is where he'll stake his claim. But this isn't where Mr. Cochrane's story becomes interesting.

Mr. Cochrane has a long well-documented past and was once an all-league track athlete as a pole vaulter and 4x100 meter relay runner. And it may be a hard task to find video footage of him competing in any of his collegiate pole vaulting events........ But why be a college pole vaulter when you can go pro?

And prior to auditioning and being chosen for UFC 15........... that's exactly what he did.

Mr. Cochrane is one of the first athletes to mix the art of professional pole vaulting and MMA........... How you ask? Dakota is a former gay porn star and it has the MMA world on it's heels.

The 25-year-old Cochrane, who is not gay (I guess we're talking happy), says he earned around $80,000 overall from taping the videos, which he made while a college student at the University of Nebraska-Kearney. Finally, when he admitted to his girlfriend Lacey Sechtem what he was doing, she asked him to stop, and the short-lived career was over.

So in a way, this all makes sense and probably is a part of a natural progression for Mr. Cochrane. More men to tussle with. I just pray he doesn't try any pole vaulting while my kids are watching this season........
